I appreciate this store's primary function as a butcher shop, & I might come back for their very enticing hot prepared food selection one day. But I couldn't help but notice that the way they store their sliced cheese & packaged meat somehow makes them prone to excessive moisture, & thus mold & spoilage. You've also got to meticulously check the expiration dates on such packages (though the same holds true for Market Fresh across Main Street).

When you first walk in not sure if it’s cheese or what but it smells like vomit. Store is unkept. Bought a couple of items and the lady at the register did not greet me or even make eye contact which was incredibly rude. I said cool no problem, politely asked for a bag and she proceeded with the same attitude, did not even look at me and said “nope”. The worst customer service I’ve experienced in the area. Market fresh has better service than they do.

Full service butcher, produce and hard to find authentic Latin fare. Not sure if they have it on other days, but huge trays of hot carnitas and a big pot of barbacoa self serve. Definitely my new favorite specialty market. Ample parking.
